I always marvel at how the trees in our surrounding forest offer the perfect level of support for all who pass by. Quiet, unwavering, there for anyone and everyone to enjoy.
This thought served as inspiration for my poem, “Enough”, which was named a finalist and published in the 2026 AR Ammons Poetry Contest, Adult Division.
I will continue to hike our woods, and continue to seek inspiration and reminders from the white northern pines, hemlocks, oaks, birches and more on how to live most fully, be present and show up for anyone and everyone.
